+ Why didn't I get the email link I was expecting?
Check your spam folder. Although I use AWeber (a leading company) to handle my mail, very occasionally a spam filter will stop it and put it in the spam folder. If you still have problems, email me (contact page).
+ Is everything I need to produce the pools entry included in the 'Winning the Football Pools ebook?
The eBook does contain everything necessary, with template sheets and so on. You will ideally need internet access - the results required are available online from a range of sites (I provide all the site info in the book). There is no additional cost for accessing those results - they are freely available to the public. If you do not have regular internet access, then the current issue of 'Racing and Football Outlook', published on Tuesdays, will provide all of the data, though you will have to add in results for any relevant Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday matches. This paper currently costs £1.70. The ebook deals with placing pools entries online, though the method will work equally well if you prefer paper coupons.
+ How long will it take for a novice to learn the system?
The effort required is about 3 hours a week after you have got used to the system. It will probably take 3-4 weeks to become fully acquainted with it. The work can be spread over a few days, ending on a Thursday evening or Friday morning.
+ Can a new user come up with the same predictions as the footballpoolswizard site?
Absolutely yes. The system does provide (as a last step only), the ability to over-ride a calculated prediction. I do occasionally over-ride a prediction, though this did cost me a 7 draw line earlier in the 2009/2010 season, when I over-rode a Chelsea home game draw prediction which DID come in as a score draw. The advice is to follow the system, and don't let emotion or belief in a team's record over-ride it. Following the system should come up with the same predictions as the site.
+ I want to place a 15 selection pools entry. What plan should I use?
Read the 'What Odds' page on this site for some more background on this. I don't provide individual advice on plans and perms, other than what you see on this site in the Plans and Perms section.
If you want info on specific plans/perms, then I suggest you go to Soccerlotto - there is a link on this page. They offer a 3 week free trial subscription. These plans (and there are a lot of them) quote the guarantees that the plans offer (eg 8 draws caught will guarantee 6 draws in a line using Plan XYZ).
+ How can I be sure that the system works?
Nothing is certain when it comes to betting. However, odds of winning can be improved by adopting particular strategies and methods, which this system does.
I make no claims for income to be derived from this system, except to say that by following it you are likely to reduce your pools losses significantly, you have a good chance of occasional wins, and a reasonable chance of coming out ahead over a season. It is certainly a lot more fun than losing money week in, week out. You should view as a fun leisure activity and not a get-rich-quick scheme.

+ How can you forecast no-score draws?
Forecasting no score draws is not a specific objective of the system. The system aims to identify matches where the teams are evenly balanced, and then both no-score and score draws may result. Close inspection of teams may reveal that some teams are 'home no score draw specialists' for example, but these are few and far between.
+ How can I select 4 aways or 10 homes?
By using the match ratings which the football pools wizard system calculates, it is possible to identify the most likely away wins and most likely home wins. There are other tricks too. For example the results sequences in Australian pools are not what might be expected, and there are certain circumstances in which away wins are very likely and can be identified in advance if you know what you are looking for.
